Pre-Camp Reminders

  • For the ceremony most individuals are dressing for a fall wedding. We want you to be comfortable, so keep in mind it may be chilly. For after the ceremony, you are more than welcome to change into more comfortable clothes for the field games and reception.

Reminder the wedding is in mid-October! So you might want to pack something warm as it can get a little chilly and a smidge damp. Dress in your snazziest camp themed outfits and don't forget those jackets to stay warm!

Both Cascadia Meadows and Lakeside Bible Camp boast lovely, vibrant green fields. But remember, if the weather does get rainy, these fields might get a tad soft underfoot. So, heels might not be the best pick. Why not opt for a comfy pair of sneakers, sturdy boots, or even your fanciest rain boots? But hey, if it turns out to be a gorgeous day, don't hesitate to step out in your favorite sandals!

  • We ask that you save white, cream and ivory for the bride. Otherwise, please come in any color you feel fits the occasion!

If you are family, please wear or compliment the wedding colors, we have included the hex #.

    Sage Green #929576

    Rustic Blue #819896

    Burnt Orange #B7713D

    Burgundy #602925

We want everyone to have a great stay. We'll try to keep families together or pair you with friends. If you have any special requests for where you want to sleep, let us know! You can add them to your RSVP.

    • Sleeping bag and pillow - the mattresses are twins if you prefer sheets and blankets

    • Personal water bottle

    • A warm jacket or sweatshirt/sweater - it'll be mid-October in the PNW!

    • Bath towel and toiletries (toothbrush, deodorant, shampoo, etc.)

    • Beach towel and swimsuit - the bride is hyped for a polar plunge if you want to join!

If you are on the island outside of the camp weekend, we would love to know you’re around! There are Airbnb’s, bread and breakfasts and lots of camping available around the island. Another option would be to camp on The Grubb Family Farm - please reach out to Madeleine for more info.
